Free Online Audio Normalizer — Consistent Loudness

Tired of tracks that are too quiet, too loud, or all over the place? Audio normalization adjusts the overall loudness to a consistent target measured in LUFS — the same standard Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music and podcast platforms use. The result sounds polished and plays at a steady level next to other content.

This uses FFmpeg's broadcast-grade loudnorm filter, entirely in your browser — your audio is never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

What is LUFS?
LUFS (Loudness Units Full Scale) measures perceived loudness. Streaming services target around -14 LUFS; podcasts often use -16; broadcast uses -23.
Is this the same as "increase volume"?
Not quite. Normalization targets a consistent perceived loudness across the whole track, rather than simply multiplying the volume.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Normalization runs entirely in your browser, so nothing leaves your device.
